HEEEE-YAHHHH! The adventure begins
The wind pushes you in the back. The trees around you start to slowly move and the world suddenly looks completely different. A simple ride around the house suddenly becomes a real expedition. WHEEE!The super mission is about to start. You might think you're just riding your bike. In fact, you're training like a real superhero.
Every ride involves muscles, balance, coordination and courage. Your brain tracks every movement of your body, monitoring your stability and helping you stay on track. And while you explore new paths, your body learns skills that you can use in other sports and games. So get on the pedals and conquer one mission after another.
1) Mission balance
WHOOOSH! The bike starts and you set off on your first superhero mission – balance. You hold the handlebars, look ahead, and your body learns to balance. Your brain tracks every movement and helps your body respond to every tilt or change in direction.
WHIZ! You take a turn. And you keep going. Coral Bubble – a cheerful water superhero who loves to ride through puddles and around corners – also handles his missions with similar confidence. Thanks to his good balance, he can whizz along the road even in the rain and always keeps the right direction. And that's exactly what you're learning. The more you ride, the stronger this ability will become.
Tip from Coral Bubble: When riding through puddles or on a wet road, hold the handlebars firmly and look where you want to go. Your body will be much better able to balance itself.
2) Coordination mission
PING! The pedals spin and another workout begins. Cycling is a perfect school of coordination. Your feet pedal, your hands grip the handlebars, and your eyes follow the road ahead. Your brain has to combine all this information into one smooth movement — otherwise the bike would stop, turn, or head in a completely different direction. Every turn of the pedals means coordinated cooperation of the whole body.
While riding you train:
• hand and foot coordination • orientation in space • quick responses • monitoring the surroundings
The little cycling hero often has no idea how much work his body and mind are doing. He just keeps riding. And discovers new paths.
3) Strong Legs Mission
ZING! The pedals spin faster and the bike heads uphill. Every pedal stroke is a small workout. The muscles of the thighs, calves and buttocks work while riding. At the same time, the muscles around the pelvis and the core of the body are involved, which help maintain stability. Cycling is a very natural movement for children. The ride is smooth and gentle on the joints, so the body can get stronger without unnecessary strain.
The little rider leans on the pedals. A little… a little more… BOOM! The hill is conquered. This is exactly how Rockeeon trains – an adventurer who loves trips into nature. He conquers hills, forest paths and new challenges on his bike. And each time he gets a little stronger.
Tip from Rockeeon: When you're riding up a hill, get out of the saddle. Strength builds gradually – and every hill will make you stronger.
4) Straight back mission
CLICK! The chain works quietly and the bike keeps whizzing along. When riding a bike , the muscles of the core of the body are activated – the abdominal muscles, the back muscles and the muscles around the spine. These help stabilize the torso and maintain balance while riding. These muscles help keep the back straight and the body stable. They also compensate for long periods of sitting at school.
The bike itself plays a big role. If it's the right size and easy to handle, your little superhero can sit naturally and the movement is much smoother. The pedals turn. The wheels whizz forward. And the body works exactly as it should.
A tip from superheroes who have already completed a few missions: Check out how to choose the right size for a children's bike.
5) Mission Courage
BRRING! The bell rings and the little cycling hero sets off. Every cyclist knows that moment. He sets off unassisted for the first time. He rides a longer route for the first time. He rides up a hill for the first time. He stops for a moment and turns back to the path he just covered. WOW.
Cycling helps children build self-confidence, independence and the courage to try new things. Every ride is a small adventure. And often the start of big expeditions with friends or family.
Tip from Aura Blazer: Don't forget your helmet, lights and reflective elements. A true hero always thinks about safety.
6) The secret weapon of a cycling hero: the right children's bike
KA-POW! Every superhero needs the right equipment . A children's bike should be designed specifically for little riders. If it's too heavy or difficult to handle, riding can be unnecessarily difficult.
A good children's bike should have:
• light weight • geometry adapted to the child's body • ergonomic components • the right size
A light and easy-to-handle bike helps a child keep their balance better, turn easier and ride with less effort. FÍHA children's bikes are built on these principles. Thanks to the lightweight construction, children's geometry and ergonomic components, they help little cyclists handle their first rides with greater confidence. SWISHH-H! When the bike fits well, the little cycling hero can focus on what's most important. On adventure.
Mission accomplished
Cycling is one of the most natural physical activities for children. It helps develop balance, coordination, strength and correct posture. It also promotes courage, independence and the joy of movement. Just get on the bike, spin the pedals and go.
WHIZ! The road opens up for the bikes and the little bike hero races on. The next mission is just around the corner.
WHOOSH! The holidays are coming to an end, but don't park the hell machine just yet. From August 13 to September 13, 2026, you will receive a free book, Lev Alex frčí na kole (The Lion Alex Rides a Bike), with every FÍHA children's bike. So put on your helmet, put your hands on the handlebars, and let's go for the next mission.
