I have a few important tips for you to start with that you shouldn't forget when driving in traffic.

• If possible, avoid the road and instead rocket along cycle paths or fields. If you must go on the road, stay as close to the edge as possible and look around carefully to avoid an unnecessary collision. KA-BOOM!

• Before you turn, show where you are going with your hand. CRAAASH! This will prevent unnecessary accidents.

• Before crossing the road, look both ways. Always stop at crosswalks and let pedestrians pass.

• DING DING! Use the bell on your bike. You will alert others to your arrival.

GULP GULP GULP! Even superheroes need to keep hydrated! A hero who forgets to drink loses strength quickly. And you definitely don't want that on a mission!

Don't forget to take regular breaks to replenish your energy and fluids during your ride. Resting is definitely not for wimps – quite the opposite! Ask your parents for help and check in with them regularly. if everything on the bike is working as it should. Do both brakes work and are the brake levers easy to squeeze? Is the chain clean and properly lubricated so you can fly at the speed of light? And what about the tires – are they not worn out and are they properly inflated? On under-inflated and worn-out wheels, you will just win the title of king or queen of snails. On the other hand, on over-inflated ones, you will feel every bump on the road. OUCH!
